How we got here? A little bit of History...
In the summer of 2010, our Gig Harbor Nazarene
Youth group traveled to Tijuana, Mexico to build quick-homes for families in need. The experience left us hungry for more. We began to ask God to give us a new opportunity to serve others, where we could have more time to reach the community with the Good News of Christ.

On the summer of 2011, our youth participated in an awareness activity at Creation-Fest, where they carried two buckets filled with water while walking through the exposition stand. The intention was for them to feel what a child who lives in underdeveloped countries endures daily. God, who is always moving, provided tangible opportunities to further develop sincere compassion in the hearts of our youth and our adult leaders. Praise Lord!
God answered our prayers!
We are very excited because God has open amazing doors for us. We were invited to go to Beira, Mozambique (Southeast Africa).
To do what? The Projects:
One of their major needs is Clean Water. Nearly 3.6 million people die each year from water related diseases; 84% of the deaths are children.
A child dies from water-related disease every 20 seconds.
The second project is to install the roof on a church and to build the walls of another. Churches meet the need of the community, spiritual and physical.
These two churches will become life-centers, where families will be able to access food, medical and educational support.
We will be also serving three orphanages, reaching hundreds
of children with the love of Christ.
Compassion
means to be able to share, understand
and to help those who are suffering.
Our hearts are ready to go!
We need everyone's collaboration and prayers because we need to fundraise $70,000 dollars in few months to pay for the cost of the projects, food and airfares.
Thank you for your prayers, donations, and encouragement
